HOME EQUITY LOANS Put your house to work for you!  If you are thinking about sprucing up your house, buying a new auto, paying off credit cards or any other special project, consider a home equity loan.  The national value of existing family homes rose considerably last year.  And you can deduct home equity interest on loans, up to $100,000 (consult your tax preparer, some exceptions apply).   ONLINE BANKING Our new online banking service gives you the convenience of making transfers of funds within your account from savings to savings, checking or for loan payments.  To access your account, go to our home page and click the "online banking" button.  Your Logon ID is your 6-digit account number (for account numbers with only 5 digits put a zero in front).  If this is your first time to use this feature, your Security Code is the last 4 digits of your telephone number per your records at the credit union.  After entering your Logon ID and telephone number, you will be prompted to change the automatic Security Code to one of your own choosing.  Please record this code, as we have no access to the codes.  If you lose your code, contact the credit union and we can reset the system so that you may start at the beginning.  SAVINGS ACCOUNTS The basic savings account is called your "share account" and is required to maintain your membership in Temple Santa Fe Community Credit Union.  A minimum deposit of $25.00 will open your door to all the services offered by the credit union.  Dividends are paid at the end of each quarter, based on your average daily balance. SPECIAL SAVINGS ACCOUNTS There are several types of special savings accounts available, from Money Market Accounts to that special account for your dream vacation, Christmas or whatever. INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS (IRA's) Temple Santa Fe Community Credit Union offers Individual Retirement Accounts in both liquid and term (certificates of deposit) accounts.  Rates on these accounts are subject to change monthly.  Specific rates of return can be found on our RATES page. CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT Temple Santa Fe Community Credit Union offers certificates of deposit from six months to three years.  Rates are monitored to give you the best yield possible. Specific rates of return for today can be found on our RATES page. CREDIT and DEBIT CARDS Temple Santa Fe Community Credit Union offers MasterCard credit cards for all your credit purchases.  These cards are accepted worldwide.  Your credit limit and rate is based on your credit rating.  MasterCard Debit Cards are available for members having checking accounts with the credit union.  These cards work just like a credit card but are paid directly from your checking account.  Overdraft protection is provided with each debit card.
